The founder of Life in the Garden with her products

Our Story

Made by hand, with love, for over 20 years

What began in a Ghanaian kitchen is now a family bringing the healing staples of home to tables across the world.

Every box, bottle, and pouch we make carries the same promise: the real thing, from our garden to your table.

It started with one simple wish — to help people feel better

More than twenty years ago, our founder and her husband began with a belief they had grown up with in Ghana: that the food of the garden is also its medicine. Prekese in the pot for a new mother. Turkey berry for weak blood. Noni for a body that needed strength. These weren't products to them — they were how their family had always cared for the people they loved.

So they started making them by hand, one batch at a time, and sharing them with neighbours, friends, and anyone who came to the door looking for relief.

Twenty years of people feeling like themselves again

Word spread the way it always does with something that works — quietly, person to person. People came back not just with empty bottles but with stories: more energy through the day, easier digestion, fewer sicknesses, and a comfort that felt like home in a cup.

Over two decades, what started as a husband and wife helping their community became a trusted name across the diaspora. The mission never changed. Only the number of people it reaches.
